Official Notice of Special Election and Sample Ballot

Official notice of special election and sample ballot for the Active Participant LAFPP Representative seat is now available. The term of the seat will be for the remainder of the term beginning July 1, 2023 and end June 30, 2026.

Ballots will be mailed to eligible voters beginning Thursday, June 29, 2023. Election Day is Friday, July 21, 2023. In order to be counted, ballots must be received by the Office of City Clerk - Election Division no later than Friday, July 21, 2023, at 5:00 p.m.

Voting Instructions for newly eligible participants

Newly eligible participants having become eligible on or after Wednesday, June 21, 2023 who wish to vote must obtain a certificate verifying their eligibility to vote by contacting the DCP at LA457@lacity.org or by calling (213) 978-1644. Beginning Friday, July 14, 2023 and no later than Friday, July 21, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., participants may present the certificate to the Election Division to receive a ballot. The Office of City Clerk - Election Division will provide voting instructions, an official ballot, and a postage-paid envelope to be executed according to established procedures.
