Official Notice of Election and Sample Ballot

Official notice of election and sample ballots for the Active Participant WPERP Representative seat and Retired and Separated Participant Representative seat are now available. The term of the seat will begin July 1, 2024 and end June 30, 2027. Election Day is Friday, May 10, 2024. In order to be counted, ballots must be received by the Office of the City Clerk - Election Division by May 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. (ballots being mailed must be postmarked by Election Day and received within three calendar days).

Voting Instructions for newly eligible participants

Newly eligible participants, having become eligible on or after Wednesday, April 10, 2024, who wish to vote must obtain a certificate verifying their eligibility to vote by contacting the DCP staff by phone at (213) 978-1629 or by email at LA457@lacity.org. Beginning Friday, May 3, 2024 and no later than Friday, May 10, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., participants may present the certificate to the Election Division to receive a ballot.
