OFFICIAL NOTICE OF ELECTION AND SAMPLE BALLOT
Official notice of election and sample ballot for the Active Participant WPERP Representative seat is now available. The term of the seat will begin upon confirmation of the election results and end June 30, 2024. Election Day is Thursday, September 16, 2021. In order to be counted, ballots must be received by the Office of the City Clerk – Election Division no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

VOTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEWLY ELIGIBLE
ACTIVE WPERP PARTICIPANTS
Newly eligible participants who become participants in the DCP and active members of the WPERP after Monday, August 16, 2021 and wish to vote must obtain a certificate verifying their eligibility to vote by contacting Mindy Lam at (213) 978-1644 or via email at mindy.lam@lacity.org. Beginning September 9, through September 16, 2021, participants may present the certificate to the Office of the City Clerk – Election Division to receive a ballot by emailing Clerk.ElectionAdmin@lacity.org. The Office of the City Clerk – Election Division will provide voting instructions, an official ballot, and a postage-paid envelope to be executed according to established procedures.
If you are a current participant of the DCP who is also an active member of WPERP on or prior to August 16, 2021, a ballot packet will be mailed to your mailing address on file with the DCP. In order to be counted, your ballot must be received by the Office of the City Clerk – Election Division no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021.
